Rain was lightly coming down as we walked today. Only walked one road today, Blue Hills Dr with 2 short side roads. It was a long road. We ended up at the back end of Blue Hills golf course and found some golf balls. We decided to pick some up and roll them down a empty street. They went pretty far and mine bounced into the gutter for a hole in one. Saw some rabbits and gophers but they ran off once we approached.

Fun day. Started at McDonald's on 460 and finally ended up at the impressive church on Mexico Way. We have been eyeing this church for some time now. Its now in our grasp. We had to conquer one big hill first. Once we did that we visited the church inside and watch the band practice. Very good all around.

Some place we havent seen before.

Had around 4 people join us walking today. Went to a nice area w/ nice homes. My sisters collegue owns a nice home in this area. Lo and behold she was outside so they talked for abit. Smelled the smoke of the ongoing fires near the area and it was a little hazy in some areas.

Notice the dog in the background.

Almost finished with this area, about another week or so. Parked at the old Kroger on King St. and hit the road. Not much going on  but we did visit a nice new neighborhood.

Did the street that we missed last time due to rain. It started to rain again at the same spot on the same road but only for about 3 minutes. Weird. On Berkley Rd near Vineyard Park around a turn some asshole teenager was going about 40 mph in the 15mph zone. He fish tailed around the corner and skidded straight at us!! Luckily he gained control and went on. We were prepared to jump just in case :) After walking we stopped by DQ and ate some ice cream.

Wiggie, wiggie, wiggie. My sis joined for todays walk. She wanted some water and John bought her some. About 5 min. later she tossed it saying she didnt want to carry it. We used two cars today since we didnt want to backtrack and half way thru our trek she says, "where are my keys?". She left them in my car so we now had to backtrack. Nice day. I had planned to walk from King St at Mcdonalds to Dairy Queen and hit the industrial area on the way, but due to the time and my sis not having her keys we decided to 3/4 of the walk. Thank goodness cause the walk looked shorter on paper. It ended up being 5+ miles. My sis kept on singing some Wiggie, wiggie, wiggie song. She was funny today.
