Grandin Court

Had to see about some HD Glasses so we headed out to Hammricks. Bought them and may take them back. Decided to walk near here so we headed to Red Rock Rd which is on the border of Roanoke City. People were doing different things: Digging up roots, Cleaning steps, building walkways, jogging, mowing lawns and playing with bunny rabbits.  Saw another ADT vehicle.

We didnt see 15 children playing.
Nice dogs.

Ended up in a peaceful remote area near Oak Crest with only two homes being in that area and far apart. Stopped and turned around on the border of Roanoke County and headed back. Walked across Brambleton and decided to enter the Coffee Pot - never been in my years of living here. Stopped in and watch some Banjo players. People were enjoying the music and the buffet. After some mingling we headed back out and up the street.

John at Coffee Pot.

Nice house with cool decor.

Water tower.

Went up Strother Rd. which had a very steep incline. It reminded me of San Francisco. At the top we saw a water tower and explored it a bit then headed back down. Did some backtracking to complete our walk along Hollowell. Visited the Oriental Market on the way back.

The Area.
